I had my drivers lesson today; just finished it. It was okay, after ten minutes I was less nervous. The guy was really nice and patient and we didn't go to Griffith Park like I did last time. Can you imagine driving around Griffith Park the first time you drive ever? Oh, for non LA folk, Griffith Park is a large park that has twisty roads and cliffs. It was kinda...scary driving it because of the cliffs.
Anyway, we drove down Venice mostly. It was fine, next week I have another appointment.

I'm so proud of you, Sara!! I can relate to your fears, so this truly a big step. I'm sure once you've overcome the jitters, you'll be road tripping frequently, especialy to my house! ;)

Aww thankies! I'm proud of me too. I'm going to force myself to practice so I get less scared. Roadtrips are awsome! I'll be able to go to Baldy and Wilson, Cambria (only two 1\2 hour drive!), your house, and England! Errr. scratch the last location; that's just wishful thinking on my part. Plus, when you and Justin want to hang with me; we can go places and Justin and I can share the driving responcebilities (sp!?).

Yee! If I remember right, Griffith Park was the where the epic battle of Bedlam's Bard (by Mercedes Lackey) took place, between good and evil elves. If you're up for it, you should give her books a try - especially that one.
