Okay, I've seen this food term all over the place but I dunno what is it;  treacle tart.
I googled it and it looks like chocolate pie. I wasn't picturing pie, I was kinda picturing a brownie shaped thing with liquidy insides...tarty.
So...what exactly is treacle tart?

Treacle is molasses, so basically picture a molasses pastry. :) Apparently you can mix it with ginger or lemon depends on your taste preference.

yep, as evilcresyluna says, it's pastry filled with a mixture made from soft white breadcrumbs, golden syrup and either lemon or ginger to taste...

Actually treacle is neither molasses or golden syrup. So you're all wrong, NYER! Haha, I had to find molasses to make Christmas cookies a while ago, everyone was full of useless information about sugar. Basically when sugar is refined it becomes MOLASSES -> TREACLE -> GOLDEN SYRUP -> DARK BROWN SUGAR -> BROWN SUGAR -> WHITE SUGAR -> ICING SUGAR (I may have skipped many steps in this). So treacle is a bit sweeter than molasses, but less refined than golden syrup.
