I've never understood the argument on creationism vs. evolution. Evolution is optional as a study in schools anyway, thusly, I think it should be allowed that creationism is an optional study as well. Giving students the right to choose which one they want to study would end the argument and debate over this on both the religious people's side and the sciencey people's side. I, for one, am interested in both. Yes, I consider myself my "own kind" of christian, but I also believe highly in evolution. I dunno if any of this made sense since it sounded better in my head. But in short, I think both theories should be allowed as the option in schools since evolution isn't a forced study, you can opt out of it due to your religion or whatever, so giving those people the option to study what they want would be better.

I understand what you're saying and I agree to an extent. If they are going to teach creationism then evolution should also be an option and vise versa. It's all taboo and such that I don't usually touch the VS with a ten foot sporl

Oh yeah, it's one of those subjects I'm on the fence about since I think they should both be options. Which is why I don't understand why they don't just do that and be done with the entire argument altogether.
