Firefox, LOVE IT. Doesn't crash as much. pretty much no pop-ups at all, at the tabs options is awsome. one browser and you have 6 sites up if you want. I love it.

Hell yeah. I belong to online forums and I am constantly having like ten or more tabs open at once. Minimum I have open at once are three or four. LiveJournal, MySpace, Facebook, and forums. I'm such a nerd.

Tabbed browsing. More security. Less pop-ups (in fact, I don't think I've ever gotten one that I didn't allow). Microsoft employees have even admitted to using it over IE. I haven't used IE or AIM in over a year now. Firefox and Trillian all the way. However, I'm not much a fan of Thunderbird (the e-mail program that the Firefox people also make).

I use IE and I loathe it, that's why I was interested in Firefox. I only use AIM to chat.

Firefox is awesome. The coolest feature is tabbed browsing, so you can have a whole load of sites open at once. Barely any popups, and more secure. Plus, you can go to the website and download extensions (extra little bits that make your Firefox do cool stuff) and themes (like skins to make it all look pretty). I highly recommend the WeatherFox extension, you get two little icons in the bottom corner of your window showing you a forecast and a satellite picture as well (that sounds really intrusive but it totally isn't). I also use a little ticker that shows Homeland Security alert level (teehee), and IEview, it's just an extra button in your right-click menu that displays the page instantly in IE if it doesn't render properly in Firefox (doesn't happen much, but sometimes). DO IIIT! I also like Thunderbird (email) and Sunbird (scheduling).

I started using Firefox the day I did this post. I agree, the tab option rocks! If you open too many windows with IE it get's annoying. I can open at least 22 tabs in one window!
