I just relized something. I need to move out of the city. I cannot afford to live in Los Angeles, hell I can't afford to live in CALIFORNIA! Now I need help, I want to move someplace with Heidi, the two cats of mine, and my rats (only have 30). I am asking all my out of state friends how much rent costs for their apartments. Or how much a house is (that's wishful thinking).
I would prefer to live in a climate like Washington but I don't give a crap really as long as I can take my animals.Hell I wouldn't mind moving to Canada if I could.
I've made up my mind, I can't live with mom anymore. The sooner I move the better. I love my mom but she is driving me insane, always threatening my animals and laying guilt on me.

Current Mood: anxious anxious

Depending on where and how close to the city, you can get a small apartment for anywhere from $400 to a thousand dollars around here, it all depends.

$1,000!? I should move over there, damn. It's at least $1,200 to live over here. Even the ghetto is $600 per month.

HOLY SHIT FUCK!

My brother was paying something like $400 for the house he lived in, but he shared it with two other people who each paid $400 so it was $1200 a month and he was allowed pets I believe because the one dude had two cats.

But my brother's new apartment is like $350 or $400.

$400-700 a month is pretty standard for a decent apartment in this part of PA, too.

Good luck with your quest. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Yeah, PA with a roommate is pretty damn cheap. ^_^ I'm not sure about the cost of pet-friendly apartments, though.

I know that there are places on the coast of Oregon for $400-600. Oregon is nice. You get nature *and* access to decent cities if you want. ^_^

Ehmmm... I know you don't want to hear this but I think you will have a hard time finding an apt. that will accept a Great Dane. I know you're really attached to your new dog (and she does seem sweet) but you can always commute home. I love my dog too but I got used to only seeing him during breaks... If you can find one all power to you though.
Good luck!

Nobody in their right mind would actually move to Iowa to live, but around here, apartments are pretty cheap.

My boyfriend lives in a fairly new apartment building and it's $450 a month. Two of my friends lived together in a two bedroom that came with cable and internet and that was $600 a month.

Hell, you could buy a decent house with decent property for $70,000.

My apt. in Gainesville is $535 a month, and that includes all bills (electric, water, ac/heat, etc. etc.) and is 2 bed 2 bath...you could definitely find one in a similar pricerange if it is just you and the animals. My complex is pet friendly but only to dogs up to 20 lbs.
