Have you ever stumbled across a celebrity in your daily life? Was it more or less exciting than you would have expected? Do you have any interest in meeting media stars?
I've met quite a few celebrities but since this question asks about meeting them spontaneously I'll only mention those.
Christopher Walkin and Quentin Tarantino. I don't know how random this was, I was very young. We went to my Grandparent's house where they were filming a scene for Pulp Fiction. Walkin was just finished and about to leave when my mom and I met him. I remember him being short with a shy little me but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he had a long day of filming. Tarantino was in my Grandma's kitchen talking to someone. I distinctly remember being weirded out by his hand waving and voice. Yah, don't know if that's random.
Jennifer Love Hewitt was helping my neighbors pack some stuff for charity. Didn't even know it was her until after she left.
The original host of Talk Soup (that guy with the stripe in his hair). He was in line for a movie.
Ben Stein standing behind me and my mom at a bookstore. Can't ignore that sort of voice!
Lastly, and this is my most treasured of the random meetings: John Ritter. I met him and his wife Amy in a Macy's at the mall. This is the only celebrity where I was very shy and blushing. I've met other celebs I love but I knew that would happen (Craig Ferguson for example). I was totally unprepared for meeting him and he was my first crush, I adored him. He was very sweet to me and gave me a hug. He died 6 months later :(
There's only a handful of celebrities I'd like to meet..or meet again. One celebrity I've met that I'd love to meet again and actually get a chance to have a conversation with is Craig Ferguson. I'd love to have an intelligent with that man :)
Another person who I have not met (been in the same room with though) and would absolutely love to meet is Hugh Laurie. I'd also love to meet Stephen Fry.
Here's another photo from the Band From TV concert.
Jesse Spencer :)
