My mom made her annual winter fudge for yesterday's party so I thought I'd share that recipe with you :)
4 cups of sugar
1 can (12oz) of evaporated milk
half pound of butter (bar form)
11\2 packages (7oz) of marshmellow creme
2 bags (12oz) of bittersweet chocolate chips. Trader Joes\Van Houtens brand
2 teaspoons of real vanilla
1-11\2 (14oz) of candy making chocolate (dark, light, or a combination of the two)
-nuts are optional
1. Get large stockpot and pour all the sugar and evaporated milk in
2. Cook on medium heat to a rapid boil.
3. Stir constantly
When it reaches rolling boil, it should be double in size
4. Add butter and vanilla while stirring another 4 minutes
5. Add marshmellow creme and chocolate (the chips and candy making chocolate).
Add nuts if you are using any
6. Stir well until well mixed. Take a taste to see if more chocolate is required.
7. Take off heat.
8. Prepare 2-3 12x9 buttered\greased pans and pour in. No deeper then an inch per pan
9. Let it sit out until cool or room temperature (usually 40-60 minutes
10. Cover with tin foil and refrigerate.
Take out of fridge to thaw 30 minutes before cutting. It's best if you use a warm knife. Good way to warm the knife; run it under hot water.

Blah, drama yesterday! We had a holiday party, we haven't had one in years so we decided to throw one. My family on mom's side all came, my uncles, aunts, and cousins. Ben (dad's side) had gone home last Friday, otherwise he would've come too.
It was fun, latkes! Andrew liked the gift I got him, an awesome roaring triceratop. Adam and Elena left fairly early but the others stayed till 9pm (they were all there since 4). I played Beatles Rock Band with the cousins. After that we watched a little of A Bit of Fry & Laurie (they've never heard of it, they loved it!). After that we watched Shuan of the Dead, bwahaha.
After they all left my brother called. He got on my mom's case for her altering the holiday card they sent us. They sent us a card with a photo of the kids and a very bold MERRY CHRISTMAS on it. Nothing wrong with Christmas, neither of us are against it. It was kind of a slap in the face though. It wasn't a HAPPY HOLIDAYS which is what I would expect from an inter-faith marriage. It was MERRY CHRISTMAS. I rolled my eyes when I saw the card, I wasn't surprised and I wasn't too bothered (more bothered for mom and my brother being self centered). My mom works at a religious Jewish school for boys but wants to show the picture of the kids. So she cut the border off of the card so it's just a picture. Is there anything wrong with that? I personally don't see anything wrong with that. I save all my holiday cards and don't alter them from you guys and from family. That's different though, those are cards for good wishes. This is a holiday card with a picture of the kid...the card is all about the picture so who cares if she crops it? She doesn't want to deal with drama at work. Adam said he's "done" with her. Unless she apologizes for "insulting his family" he won't call her anymore. What the fuckery is this? IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL ADAM! She didn't get a black Sharpie and scribble over CHRISTMAS with things like "omg Christmas sux u gais!" No, she didn't do that. UGH! He had to bring it up. Yesterday was such a good day too but he fucking ruined it D:<
Yeah, that really pissed me off.
I refuse to end this post on a negative note....my Day In The Life of Daniel Radcliffe book came today! So many lovely photos, so many nearly nekkid Dan photos! Who else got theirs?
OK, complete and utter fangirl post right now. Skip if you don't watch House.
OMG HOUSE! I keep hearing different things about when it's going to air again. I hear January 11th and January 25th. I want a definitive date please! I've been reading some great quotes from the writers, producers, and actors on the show. The next episode, titled The Down Low is supposed to be really good. The title gets me all squeeful!
At the end of the last episode, titled Wilson, Wilson wins a bidding war against Cuddy for a condo that he and House will share. Two awesome parts of that last scene? The omg Wilson totally pwn'd Cuddy for "hurting my best friend" and the second you realize "Eeeeeee, they're gonna officially live together!" House also didn't want to watch Wilson's surgery because "If you die, I'm alone"...he did go though. Wilson saw him in the viewing area before getting knocked out by the drugs. House stood vigil over Wilson and we see cute little scenes of House making Wilson laugh. Yes, he had the evil motive of making Wilson's stitches hurt but omg they were laughing together, baaaaawwwwwwwww!!!!
So the title The Down Low makes me sooooo excited! Look up what "down low" means and then look at the last episode! It might not have anything to do with the squeeness from the last episode but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
House needs to sleep with Cuddy already if he's going to. Then he can get his confused feelings for her out of his system and see what's been in front of his face for years! Or, he can figure it out before having the Huddy sex and realize what's been in front of his face! Personally I'd rather have the latter...although, there would lovely Jealous!Wilson scenes if we had the former!
Did anybody else think season 6 was amazing for us Hilson fans? O.M.G!
My mom doesn't think they'll happen. My mom thinks they'd work (H\W) but she doesn't think the show will go that way because it's an insanely popular show and it'll lose a lot of fans if they go that route. They might lose fans...but maybe they'll just wait until the last season for them to get together! That way they have nothing to lose and we Hilson fans get what we know is coming!
I used to support Huddy a bit. I was always a Hilson fangirl but I would've been okay if House and Cuddy got together. Not anymore. As of season 5 that stopped for me. They dragged it out too long imo and I stopped supporting it. If they got together now I'd be super duper pissed! I like Cuddy\Lucas, they're cute together and that leaves room for our bromantic boys to get it on!
This silly fangirl flail is brought to you by...
A totally domestic scene!
Wilson: Nom nom nom!
House: *bitch, whine, snark*
