my stomach is giving me issues

I was interviewed by mariahgem
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.

1.) What's the best part of living in LA?

There are various reasons why I love my city (and why I want to move, hehe). I guess for me it wouldn't be the weather (too dry!) or the city itself (too big!) but the people you meet in this city. Sure you meet the shallow people who care only about money and looks but you also meet the eccenric but friendly people and the people who just like to talk politics\environment\etc with you. I usually find these people on the bus, I've had many bus rides chatting with complete strangers over our President, the environment and how we can help it, and even fellow Potterphiles. I had a very interesting discussion with a 19 year old UCLA student over the complex relationship between Dumbledore and Harry!
So yes, I would say the people you meet (on the bus!)

2.) Is the valley really as bad as people say it is?
In what way to people say it's "bad"? The stereotype valley girls, the weather, what? I don't mind the valley. When I move out of mom's house I'll probably be moving to valley, only because it's slightly cheaper then the city (slightly). I don't like the weather in the valley though, it's always hotter then the city. However, the valley gets more rain which is a plus. I haven't come across a "as if!" girl that actually came from the valley. Everybody I know that talks like that is either from West LA (where I am), or Santa Monica. I've been known to talk like a valley girl sometimes...I say "like" way too much! Anyway, it's different from the city (Los Angeles being 'city') but it isn't bad.

3.) Best futurama quote ever?
Um...I really need to watch my dvds! Anyway, that's kind of a hard one! I love Al Gore's Futurama quotes, Morbo's, the Professor's. It would have to be a tie between "WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY! GOODNIGHT!!" or possibly "Sure, everyone's always in favorof saving Hitler's brain, but put it in the body of a great whiteshark... oooooh, suddenly you've gone too far!"...actually any quote from Farnsworth and Morbo makes me lolz :3

4.) What color would Fry and Leela's babys' hair be?
Erm...purple I think. Red is a recessive gene isn't it? I'm being way too scientific for this question. The girl will have red hair and the boy will have purple!

5.) What would you name your first born baby you have with Daniel Radcliffe? :D
Ahem! *has a few seconds of happy visions* I've always loved the name "Daniel" actually (for as long as I can remember so shush!) so maybe Daniel Jr.! Er but since I have to name a son after my father it would be like...Daniel Arthur...or Arthur Daniel! Or possibly Arthur Benjamin. My dad's name was Anthony but as long as one of the names is an "A" name I'm alright. What if it's a girl though! That's hard, I don't like a lot of girl names, hehe. Victoria :3
Personally I like the idea of making a baby more then the idea of a baby itself ;)

I want to visit San Diego or San Francisco. It just seems so
fun and laid back there. Have you ever visited there?

I've been to both San Diego and San Fransisco, both are amazing in their own rights :3

1. If you had to change the main cast of the HP movies, who would you cast as each character? Prefer British actors but other nationalities are alright.

2. If you somehow came into $5,000 tomorrow (legally!), how would you spend it?

3. Who was your first celebrity crush?

4. Favorite book series besides HP?

5. If you could ask JK Rowling anything what would it be?

1. What was your very first pet?

2. Is there an animal you've always wanted as a pet but never had? Not something like a tiger...a 'pet' animal.

3. If you had the money to travel to any country, what country would you want to visit?

4. What is your favorite game series? (example: Zelda, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, etc)

5. What is the first game you ever remember playing on a console besides the computer?
Example; I think the first game I ever played (besides PacMan on the Apple) was Tomb Raider on my brother's Playstation

I think you would like the Bay Area more...it's green all over, there are so many wild animals running around, there are very open minded, non-shallow people around, I mean SF is the gayest city! Everyone is the coolest nicest person here, and I am not trying to brag since I AM here...hehe...;)
I always think the valley is dry, the heat is trapped in there, and there is so much smog. There is like no smog up here, thank god. The only "smog" we have is the thick chocolaty air since I live near Ghirdelli Chocolate factory...:P

I love San Francisco.

Actually the major city I'd be happiest in is Seattle..or Portland. I'd be happy in SF too though.

Yeah the smog gets trapped in the valley..but it's more humid then the city actually, more moist heat which is the worst kind! LA's smog has gotten so much better..but still needs lots of improvement!

Seattle is cool, but I wasn't a fan of the weather...and P-town I will always love somewhere in my heart, but it's so boring...:P
And San Fran is one of the top 5 best cities to raise your kids in! :) So I am happy to hear that...
Yea I am concerned it will never be 100% better...I wish. :(
You should move up here, serious! :)

Well it's cheaper here than San Diego and LA...but yes CA in general is pretty expensive. I think we have been fortunate for Dan to get a super high paying job so we can afford to live here...
I hope to buy a house someday around here...maybe only a little bigger than the one we have now. I would love to have more than one bathroom...;)
What field do you want to get into for your career?

AHAHAHA! I love that Morbo line to death!! Morbo has such great lines all the time! TREMBLE PUNY HUMANS!!!

Linda: Ahahaha!

I too, have put way too much thought into Fry and Leela's baby's hair color. LOL. Hey, I get bored easy, ok? Anyway, I wondered if maybe it would blend? And maybe get like a brown? *shrug*
