“Just landed. Um, we're being pulled into the gate now. My battery is really low so I can't give details, I'll give details when I come home; scary details. I'm not scared of turbulence so if I'm giving scary details it was major turbulence. So anyway, um, I'll post the details when I get home.
That's it, bye.”

My friend Monsie said I sounded really off to her in this. If you all think that as well it's because I was feeling really thankful to be on the ground. I'm saying 'details' so much because I'm tired and I don't have my wits about me. Poor me.

DETAILS WHERE THE DETAILS OMG FLYING IS SCARY
We hit some turbulence too but luckily it wasn't too, too bad. We dropped and my stomach dropped but not too far and my flight was only an hour so it was nothing compared to what probably happened to you.

omfg it was scary. I'll do a full post in a bit, I'm uploading photos now but I'll give you a rundown.
It was raining when we took off. That's no big deal, rain doesn't cause turbulence, air currents do. There were clouds, again no biggie.
Five minutes in we get...6.0 earthquake size turbulence! That's scary ass stuff, that's an earthquake I'm afraid of (1994 earthquake). That lasted for about a hour! The plane wasn't just shaking, it was also dropping. A few times during the trip, in the beginning and towards the end, it would drop really far, about 200 feet, maybe more or maybe less. I'm just guessing from what I saw from the window and judging myself.
Right after we passed some mountains in Eastern Nevada it got worse then the East Coast turbulence! At one point I started to cry silently, I've never cried during turbulence! I was listening to Wicked and 'Defying Gravity' came on, I had to change it. I never change that song but I could not listen to it. I was really stressed and not doing well, it was horrible!
The lady next to me would just ready and the flight attendants kept searving drinks, that's the only thing that kept me from being verbal with my fright.

Wow, yeah, that's fucking scary as hell. I know what you mean though cause as long as the steward was still standing and serving I remained calm enough to not cry on the way home.

I did cry at one point, it was during a huge drop where my ears popped and then the plane jolted really badly. At that point I was just so frazzled. Of course, the crying didn't lead to panicking, thanks to said drink serving flight attendants.

I'd rather ride a hippogriff...that sounds so wrong! O.o
