Writer's Block: Crepuscular Drama

The Twilight movie comes out today. A lot of people are really excited about seeing Bella and Edward on the big screen. Others couldn't care less. Where do you fall on the issue?

I can't do a real update now because I'm headed out. Check for some New York posts later!

So I'll just do this :)

I could care less honestly. I have friends that love the books and that's great, I'm obsessed with potter myself. I tried to read the first book because I like a good vampire novel. I couldn't get into it, by chapter 5 I was through. To me it felt like a cheesy fanfiction. The writing style also grated on my nerves.

I don't know if I'll see the movie, if it's not like the books (like the Potter movies aren't that true to the books) I might give it a shot xD

edit::
Looks like I am seeing it. A family friend wants to see it with me so I guess I"m being dragged :P

Ah, personally, I don't recommend the movie for anyone who hasn't seen the books. They left out a lot of stuff that you just can't grasp from the movie, aside from the basics. Not to say I didn't absolutely love the movie, in fact, it's my favorite movie adaptation, it's the truest to the book than any other I have ever seen (minus the build-up that I'm talking about because...well...the movie would be like six hours long then so I understand why it was left out).
