It's a deep brown with a reddish tint

I think taking photos of yourself while laying in the grass is a very cliche thing but whatevah! :)

I've been trying to post a video from photobucket but when I preview my lj post it doesn't show up! I also tried it with imageshack and that doesn't work either. I fail :(

True that. I need to take benadryl before I mow the lawn every time.

benadryl is so counterproductive though. for me anyway, it knocks me right out.

Yeah, usually it does that to me...that's why I turn the lawnmower up to the fastest setting. XD We have a riding mower because we have like three acres. If it was a push mower I'd probably end up cutting my leg off somehow.

it's sad because no other antihistamine has quite the same quick. especially non-drowsy.

For real. I take prescription pills and even they don't help completely. I usually go between benadryl (usually just at night) and allavert (which still doesn't help with my eyes). I just got Pataday drops but they're only for before my eye surgery, I won't be able to get them refilled after that.

Have you ever gotten shots or anything? I've considered it but I don't want to waste the money if they won't work either.

allergies suck SO HARD and people that are lucky enough not to have them can't comprehend how awful they really are and how debilitating they can be. i have the asthma and allergy package deal, lucky me. just for my allergies alone i take a prescribed antihistamine, a steroid, and two nasal sprays daily. even still if i'm around an allergen (cat, dog, grass, pretty much everything on earth) i'll have a gnarly flair up. if hang around said allergen for longer than 20 minutes i'll usually end up with a sinus infection. ever have you sinuses scraped? that's fun stuff.

i did the shots for two years. i gotta tell you from my own personal experience; total waste of time and money.

sorry for the novel haha.

Oh, it's totally alright. I actually like to hear that I'm not the only person with these problems. You sound a lot like me, although maybe worse, because luckily as long as I keep my animals clean they don't bother me. I also have asthma. I take Advair and have an at home nebulizer. I'm currently on Xyzal because every prescription I take usually stops working after about two or three years when my body builds up a tolerance to it. I have Nasacort I think (the one that DOESN'T smell like gardenias) but I rarely use it because I don't think it helps. I was supposed to get my sinuses cleaned but never did because I'm terrified of it, I've heard of people getting black eyes from it and swollen faces, etc. They told me they would burn them not scrape them because my osteomaetal complex is full of scar and damaged tissue from so many infections. Is it really as bad as people claim? When I finally get some medical insurance going on here I may look into it again. Is it worth it? Some people have said that it only lasts a few years.

*hijacks Sara's journal again...*

i take asmanex, serevent and singulair (along with albuterol/xopanex as needed of course). it's a never ending cycle of bs. i love the commercials that talk about the asthma medicines that can actually cause asthma related deaths too, those really make me feel confident about my medication uggh.

my scrape wasn't bad at all. different people have different experiences i'm sure but i think a lot of the time people like to over-dramatize things. i say the scrape is definitely much more worth it than the shots. you may have to get it done again somewhere down the road but i'm glad i did it and i'd do it again.

I'm allergic to grass but I only get a bad runny nose, itchy eyes, and a headache. I dealt with it to take the picture.
I hate hives, beach flies give me those.

When the sun is hitting your hair in that first picture, that's sort of how my hair looks right now. Mine is slightly lighter but it's in the same shade range since I have red undertones.
