Getting my kicks on Route 66

Well, not really.

On Friday morning, between 2 and 3am I'm going to drive up the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway), past Malibu and stop somewhere nice and dark. From there I shall sit by my car with hot chocolate and binoculars and view the meteor shower. I urge anybody in the Pacific area...the west coast of America, Canada, Hawaii, Australia, wherever, to try to find a dark place and view the shower. It's supposed to be the best in years! :D

On a not so great note, this situation with my mom will not stop until I'm out of the house. I will get out, the only thing is 'when' and 'how'...and where! I'd love to move out of this city...

Too bad ferrets are illegal in California and my dog is insane and you don't wanna live in the city anymore. I actually would consider moving out there if I saved up enough money, I hear the cost of living is way more expensive than here.

I probably won't get to move out of the city for awhile. I'd live around the city...my dream is to move out of Southern California all together. I have nothing against the area, some gorgeous country is in Southern California, I just want a fresh start :B

The cost of living is evil! In the area I'm in it's about 8,000 a month in a one bedroom apartment! D:

$8000 a month for a one bedroom seems pretty unrealistic...:P
I'm sure it's high but not that high! It's not even that bad in NYC...
Here it's like $1200 for a one bedroom in certain areas...we found a nice 3 bedroom house for like $2500...it's awesome

Haha I exaggerated by $2000, my brother has to pay $6500 a month for his.

That seems kind of stupid...like if it's that high, why not move??? I would never stay in a place where it was THAT high...we are fortunate to be paying $1400 for our 2 bedroom house...:)

I would, but Dan has to work Friday and I have to be up somewhat early to go get my rabies shots...so it's not feasible for me to stay up so late...:(

I was thinking that since it lasts a little while. I might go out tonight after karate with my birthday telescope I've hardly had the chance to use.
